During the <br />past nineteen years Lynn Capouya has managed and served <br />as Principal-in-Charge on a wide variety of projects <br />involving Educational Landscape Services. She is also <br />active in the WTS (Women's Transportation Service) <br />to promote women's roles in all aspects of transportation <br />projects. Ms. Capouya works with individual clients to <br />meet water conservation issues through a combination <br />of plant material selection and irrigation methods. She <br />is also involved with the Xeriscape Foundation Steering <br />Comnfittee for the City of Los Angeles and has authored <br />"Garden Guides", a guide to creative gardening with limited <br />resources. She is WBE certified with Caltrans, OCTA, <br />City of Los Angeles and several other organizations. <br /> <br />Los Angeles Southwest College, Los Angeles, Cali- <br />fornia: Principal-in-Charge responsible for coordinaOng <br />the landscape design of several facilities at this campus. <br />Phases of the project ran concurrently over, as the project <br />criteria and landscape designs were significantly different. <br />Facilities included: Demolition of existing facility, which <br />was on a fault line, Landscape replacement with recreation <br />areas, Lecture Laboratory, Physical Educaton Facility and <br />field services for a Technical Laboratory already under <br />construction. <br /> <br />Space Saver School, Santa Ami, California: This new <br />Facility involves a model mixed-use project integrating <br />an ex~sting Shopping Center with a School. As Principal- <br />in-Charge, the landscape concerns involved coordinating <br />with adjacent facilities, right-of-way improvements, a 2- <br />story parking deck enhancement and field facilities. Design <br />Landscape Services also includes the screening from <br />surrounding neighbors. <br /> <br />School Maintenance Facility, Lynwood Unified School <br />District, Lynwood, California: As Principal-in-Charge, <br />Lynn Capouya completed the landscape planting and <br />in-igation design to complement the Lynwood Service <br />Center/Warehouse for the Lynwood Unified School Dis- <br />trict. The design was to consolidate all maintenance <br />operations of the Dis~ct in one location. Landscape <br />design included four (4) separate buildings that were <br />constructed and connected to each other by walkways <br />to accommodate forklifts, then covered by metal trellis <br />for security. He specializes in the preparation <br />and implementation of traffic management plans, traffic <br />impact studies, circulation elements, neighborhood traffic <br />issues, and coordination between involved agencies for <br />major public and private projects and planning, design, <br />and construction of traffic signals, signs, markings, detour <br />plans and ITS systems. Mr. <br />del Castillo brings extensive experience in: project <br />management; boundary analysis; topographic mapping; the <br />preparation and processing of subdivision maps, ease- <br />meuts, and annexations; calculations; construction sur- <br />veying; condominium plans; photogrammetric control and <br />mapping; and geodetic control, including first-order and <br />second-order vertical and horizontal control as well as <br />GPS control. Representative projects include SR-55/SR- <br />22 to SR-91 Design Surveys and Right-of-Way mapping; <br />Barranca Parkway/Jamboree Road to Redhill Construction <br />Surveying; and I-5/SR-55 Interchange ROW Mapping and <br />Monumentatian. <br /> <br /> <br />
