AGENDA ORDER It was moved by Councilman Carlson, <br /> ~ seconded by Councilman Griset and <br /> carried, to take Agenda Item 48 (Parcel <br />Map 594) out of order and consider at this time. <br /> <br />PARCEL MAP 594 Council considered Parcel Map 594, <br /> ~ filed by Louis I-I. Morner creating two <br /> parcels on the north side of Fairhaven, <br />west of Greengrove Street, recommended for denial by the Planning Director. <br /> <br />Jim Ginullias, prospective developer; Norman Hahn, of Hahn Realty, <br />representing Mr. Morner; and Louis Morner, owner of the property, <br />requested that the Parcel Map be approved as submitted, since Mr. Morner <br />wanted to keep his home there. <br /> <br />After discussion by Council, on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by <br />Councilman Griset, Parcel Map 594 was approved subject to the conditions <br />recommended if approved in the Planning Director's report dated <br />February ll, 1969, and alley requirement was waived, on the following <br />roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Herrin, Carlson, Griset, McMichael <br />Brooks, Markel <br />Thurman <br /> <br />Councilman Brooks expressed his opinion that the recommendation of the <br />Planning Director should have been upheld on this parcel map and Council- <br />man Markel said he was definitely opposed to the approval. Councilman <br />Griset stated he felt that the conditions of approval set out in the Planning <br />Director's report corrected a number of the deficiencies the Planning <br />Director listed as objections from prior history. <br /> <br />RECESS <br /> <br />members present. <br /> <br />At 4:45 P.M., a three minute recess <br />was declared. The Council reconvened <br />at 4:50 P.M. with the same Council <br /> <br />READING WAIVED The full reading of ordinances and <br /> resolutions, the titles of which <br /> appeared on the public agenda, was <br />waived, on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Markel <br />and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />ORD. NS-955 - A.A. 636 ORDINANCE NS-955 PREZONING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AND ESTABLISI~NG DISTRICT <br /> CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT <br />APPLICATION 636 INITIATED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND <br />AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 32-4-9 (EXHIBIT AA 636 A) <br />(south side of Garden Grove Freeway approximately 400 feet west of center <br />line of Tustin) was adopted, on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by <br />Councilman Griset. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Herrin, Brooks, Carlson, Griset, MaMichael <br />Markel <br />Thurman <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />126 <br /> <br />February 17, 1969 <br /> <br /> <br />
