VARIANCES AND CONDITIONAL It was moved by Councilman Thurman, <br />USE PERMITS seconded by Councilman Griset and <br /> unanimously carried, to adopt the <br />findings of fact, conclusions amd decision of the Planning Commission in the <br />following matters as actions of the City Council: <br /> <br />VA 2139, ELLER - construct 4 apartments in,the R 2 B District at 818 South <br />Cyperss - DENIED; <br />VA 69-11, JOHNSON - continue operation of a riding stable in the M 1 <br />District at 2518 S. Harbor - APPROVED; <br />VA 69-12, GREER-WOOD ENTERPRISES - construct single family <br />subdivision in the A i District with setbacks from property lines as permitted <br />in the R 1 District south of West Orange Rd., west of Flower - APPROVED; <br />VA 69-13, Ni2)C/{E & SOMMERVILLE - construct duplex subdivision on <br />property in the C 2 and M 1 Districts at 4020 W. Bolsa - APPROVED; <br />VA 69-14, ALVAREZ - construct single family residence in the R 1 District <br />with an existing single family dwelling at 2220 S. Hickory - APPROVED; <br />VA 69-15, O'CONNOR - construct 3-story garden apartment complex in <br />the A 1 District at 2500 N. Tustin - APPROVED; <br />CUP 69-3, FIRST MEXICAN BAPTIST CHURCH - construct church and <br />related facilities in the R i District at 5022 W est Hazard - APPROVED; <br />CUP 69-4, MEANS & ULRICH - construct combination industrial-retail <br />sales buildingin the M I District at 1625 E. Edinger - DENIED; <br />CUP 69-5, TRINITY UNITED SPIRITUALIST CHURCH - utilize existing <br />office building for church in the R 1 District at 602 W. Edinger - APPROVED. <br /> <br />ORANGE RESOLUTION A copy of City of Orange Resolution <br />MUTUAL FIRE PROTECTION notifying participants of mutual fire <br /> protection agreement of City. of <br />Orange withdrawal from such agreement was referred to staff for report <br />at April 21 Council meeting, on motion of Councilman Thurman, seconded <br />by Councilman Griset and carried. <br /> <br />PARCEL MAP 596 Tentative Parcel Map 596, filed by <br /> Santa Ana Board of Education, <br /> creating 4 parcels at southeast corner <br />of Bristol and Segerstrom, was approved subject to conditions in Planning <br />Director's report dated February 28, 1969, and altey requirement was <br />waived, on motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Thurman <br />and carried. <br /> <br />PARCEL MAP 597 Tentative Parcel Map 597, filed by <br /> Keuilian Brothers, creating 3 parcels <br /> on the southwest corner of Westminster <br />and Newhope, was approved subject to conditions in Planning Director's <br />report dated March 18, 1989, and alley requirementwas waived, on motion of <br />Councilman Griset, seconded by Thurman and carried. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />166 April 7, 1969 <br /> <br /> <br />
