PARCEL MAP 596 ¢2 ~'~ Tentative Parcel Map.596, filed~by <br /> Means and Ulrich, creating 3 parcels <br /> on the north side of Edinger, east of <br />Grand, was approved subject to conditions in Planning: Director's report <br />dated March 18, 1969, and alley requirement was waived, on motion of <br />Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Thurman and carried. <br /> <br />PARCEL MAP 599 C~ ~' Tentative Parcel Map 599, filed by <br /> Richard G. Braley, ~alker Smith, <br /> Jr. and Ruth M. Duhart, creating two <br />parcels on the south side of Seventeenth Street, east of Linwood, was approved <br />subject to conditions in Planning Director's report dated March 26, 1969, and <br />alley requirement was waived, on motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by <br />Councilman Thurman and carried. <br /> <br />PARCEL MAP 601 ~9 ~-g Tentative Parcel Map 601, filed by <br /> McFadden Homes, creating 4 parcels <br /> on the northeast corner of Fairview <br />and McFadden, was approved subject to conditions in Planning Director' s <br />report dated April 2, 1969, and alley requirement was waived, on motion of <br />Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Thurrnan and carried. <br /> <br />CITY PARK C~ g~ A report from the Board of Recreation <br /> and Parks recommending that park to <br /> be located at former F. C. C. property <br />be named "Centennial Park"; and road running through park be named <br />"Centennial Road", and that nothing else in City be named ,'Centennial"; also <br />recommending purchase of additional acreage north of Santiago Day Camp, <br />was deferred to the meeting of April 21, on motion of Councilman Brooks, <br />seconded by Councilman Thurrnan and carried. <br /> <br />TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMITTEE A report from the Citizen -Government <br /> Advisory Committee for Traffic Safety, <br /> recommending installation of additional <br />"School Crossing" signs at intersection of Warner and Pacific (referred by <br />Council on February 3rd) was considered. The recommendations as set out <br />in the report were approved, on motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by <br />Councilman Herrin and carried. <br /> <br />TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMITTEE A report from the Citizen-Government <br />VACANCIES Advisory Committee for Traffic Safety <br /> requesting the Council to appoint three <br />new members to the committee to fill vacancies was ordered filed, on motion <br />of Councilman Thurman, seconded by Councilman Herrin and carried° after <br />Mayor McMichael explained that three people had been asked to serve on the <br />committee and replies had not been received as yet. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />167 April 7, 1969 <br /> <br /> <br />
