PUBLIC HEARING On motion of Councilman Brooks, <br />APPEAL 222 - V.A. 69-24 seconded by Councilman Patterson and <br /> carried, Appeal 222, filed by Ralph A. <br />Bell and Jess L. Whinery, appealing Planning Commission's denial of Variance <br />Application 69-24 to permit the expansion of an existing auto service building <br />in the C D District at 1064-66 West Fourth Street, was continued to the meeting <br />of 3une 2, as requested by the applicant. <br /> <br />FIREWORKS DISPLAY On motion of Councilman Patterson, <br /> seconded by Councilman Villa and carried~,-~ <br /> Council ratified the action of the City <br />Manager in approving application from The Church of Latter Day Saints for <br />public fireworks display held on Saturday, May 10, 1969, at the Santa Aha Bowl.~ <br /> <br />CLAIM On motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded <br /> by Councilman Patterson and carried, the <br /> Claim of Richard Fullmer for restitution <br />for alleged false arrest was denied, and the matter was referred to the City's <br />insurance carrier. <br /> <br />PUBLIC PROPERTY USE The Application for Special License to <br /> Use Public Property by St. Olaf Lutheran <br /> Church for open air public meetings at <br />Bush and Fourth Streets, Saturdays only, May 17 to October 18, 1969, from <br />4:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M., was approved, on motion of Councilman Brooks, <br />seconded by Councilman Markel and carried. <br /> <br />SOLICITATION APPLICATIONS <br /> <br />cations were approved: <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Patterson, <br />seconded by Councilman Markel and <br />carried, the following Solicitation Appli- <br /> <br />Ernest L.
