RES. 69-87 - FEDERAL ASSISTANCE RESOLUTION 69-87 AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> NiANAGER TO APPLY FOR FEDERAL <br /> FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE UNDER THE <br />FEDERAL DISASTER ACT was adopted, on motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded <br />by Councilman Villa, on the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Brooks, Markel, Patterson, Villa, Griset <br />Herrin, Thurman <br />None <br /> <br />Councilman Herrin stated that his "no" vote was based on what his own position would <br />be if he had entered into a sirnilar contract and had exicountered the same circum- <br />stances as the City's contractor; and that he would certainly not make such applica- <br />tlon for Federal funds "even if it wou/d wlpe me out completely". <br /> <br />RES. 69-89 - DEEDS, NO CASH RESOLUTION 69-89 ACCEPTING DEEDS <br />STREET AND RECEIVING AN OFFER OF DEDICATION <br /> FOR WHICH THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH <br />CONSIDERATION (Keuilian, Boose, Segerstrom) was adopted, on motion of Council- <br />man Herrin, seconded by Councilman Patterson and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />RES. 69-90 - DEED WITH CASH RESOLUTION 69-90 ACCEPTING A DEED <br />SEWER FOR WHICH THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH <br /> CONSIDERATION (Richardson, et al) was <br />adopted, on motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman Patterson and <br />unanimously carried. <br /> <br />RES. 69-91 - GRANT DEED RESOLUTION 69-91 ATrTHORIZING EXECU- <br />ELECTRIC EASEMENT TION OF A GRANT OF EASE1V~ENT TO <br /> SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY <br />WITH NO CASH CONSIDERATION (south of MacArthur, west of Birch) was adopted, <br />on motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman Herrin and unanimously <br />carried. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT - ENCROACHMENT Execution by the Mayor of an Agreement <br /> between the City and G. E. Tilson, John D. <br /> Gould and Frank 3. DeSantis, to permit <br />an encroaching sign at 315 West 17th Street, was authorized, on motion of Councilman <br />Brooks, seconded by Councilman Herrin and unanimously carridd. <br /> <br />AGREEIV~ENT Execution by the IV~ayor of an Agreement <br />TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE between the City and the County of Orange, <br /> for maintenance of joint traffic signals, was <br />authorized, on motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman Herrln and <br />unanimously carried. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />- 224 - June 2, 1969 <br /> <br /> <br />
