The quantity of proposed work hours must be included in this breakdown. <br />The Proposer shall furnish all necessary labor, supplies, tools, uniforms, transportation, <br />and insurance required for the provision of required services. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The Santa Ana Police and Jail Facility has been utilizing private janitorial maintenance <br />since it opened as a new facility in January 1997. Current minimum staffing levels for <br />Monday through Friday janitorial maintenance are one (I) On-site Supervisor, one (I) <br />day porter, and eight (8) janitorial personnel, all working eight (8) hours each. Weekends <br />and Holiday staffing levels are three (3) janitorial personnel, all working six (6) hours <br /> <br />each. <br /> <br />RULES OF PREPARATION <br /> <br />Rules Governing Competition: <br /> <br />This is an RFP conducted in accordance with the <br /> <br />regulations of the City of Santa Ana. All instructions shall be fully complied with or the <br /> <br />proposal may be rejected as non-responsive. This RFP is not a formal bidding process <br /> <br />governed by State statute. <br /> <br />Acceptance of Proposals: The City reserves the right to reject any proposals and to waive <br />any informality, technical defect or clerical error in any proposal as the City may deem <br />prudent. <br /> <br />Oral Communications: Any oral communications by any City employee concerning the <br />RFP are not binding on the City and shall in no way modify the RFP or any obligation to <br />the City or the Proposer. <br /> <br />RFP as Basis for Proposal: This RFP represents the most definitive statement the City <br /> <br />shall make concerning the information upon which the proposals are based.
