<br />3.7 <br /> <br />3.8 <br /> <br />3.9 <br /> <br />3.10 <br /> <br />Spec #03- 027 <br /> <br />Pre-proposal Conference: All persons wishing to submit a proposal must attend the pre- <br />proposal conference, on Friday, August 29, 2003 at 8:30 a.m., held at the Santa Ana <br />Police Department lobby, 60 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA, 92702. Parking is <br />available immediately adjacent to the facility. Parking costs are at the Proposer's <br />expense. This conference shall provide an opportunity for Proposers to ask questions and <br /> <br />tour the facility. <br /> <br />Proposal Submission: The delivery of the proposal package is the sole responsibility of <br />the Proposer. It shall be delivered to: The City of Santa Ana, Purchasing Department, 20 <br />Civic Center Plaza, M-16, Santa Ana, CA. 92701, Attn: Terri Okazaki, by the due date <br />of September 8, 2003 at 4:00 PM. It shall be delivered in person, by U.S. mail or <br /> <br />commercial messenger service during normal business hours (Monday through Friday <br />ITom 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.). <br /> <br />Withdrawal and Modification of Proposals: A proposal may be withdrawn at any time <br />prior to the submission deadline by an authorized representative of the Proposer by <br />formal written notification of withdrawal. Another proposal may then be submitted prior <br />to the submission deadline. Proposals submitted shall become the property of the City <br /> <br />after the submission deadline. <br /> <br />Contractual Obligations: The City shall require certain contractual obligations, which <br />may include, but are not limited to the following: <br /> <br />I. Inclusion of Proposal: The proposal submitted in response to this RFP shall be a <br />required part of the final agreement with the selected proposer. <br /> <br />2. Insurance: Prior to undertaking performance of work under an Agreement, Proposer <br /> <br /> <br />shall maintain and require its subcontractors, if any, to obtain and maintain insurance <br /> <br />as described below: <br />a. Business automobile liability insurance, or equivalent form, with a combined <br /> <br />single limit of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence. Such insurance shall <br /> <br />Page 6 of 49 <br />
