RESOLUTIONS (continued) <br /> <br />RES. 69 -135 - RESOLUTION 69-135 AUTHORIZING <br />QUITCLAIM DEED EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED <br /> TO OWNERS OF RECORD was adopted, <br />on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Markel and un- <br />animously carried. <br /> <br />Due to a conflict of interest on the following item, Mayor Griset left the <br />Council Chamber. <br /> <br />PARK SITE AGREEMENT Execution of Agreement for acquisition <br /> of park site located on the south side <br /> of MacArthur between Bristol and <br />Flower Streets was authorized, on motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded <br />by Councilman Herrin and carried. Councilman Patterson voted "No", <br />explaining that he was not opposed to this particular agreement; that he was <br />opposed to the City's purchasing park sites when it could require dedica- <br />tion; and that he was in favor of parks but opposed to this method of <br />acquisition. <br /> <br />Mayor Griset returned to the Council table. <br /> <br />CHANGE ORDER Change Order No. 1 to contract with <br /> Brage Construction Company, Pr0- <br /> ject 3008, construction of sanitary <br />sewer under Santiago Creek at Aloha Street and a sanitary sewer in River <br />Lane between Bristol and Baker, increasing $645.22, was approved, on <br />motion of Councilman Markel, seconded by Councilman Evans and un- <br />animously carried. <br /> <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 236 Execution of agreement with Donald <br /> B rinkerhoff Associates for landscape <br /> architectural services in Assessment <br />District 236, Fourth Street between Ross and Spurgeon Streets, was <br />authorized, on motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman <br />Villa, on the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Herrin, Brooks, Evans, Patterson, Villa, Griset <br />Markel <br />None <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />-311 - <br /> <br />September 2, 1969 <br /> <br /> <br />
