FINAL 1VLA.P, TRACT 6703 Final Tract Map 6703, filed by <br /> Santiago Development Company, <br /> creating 85 lots at MacArthur <br />Boulevard and Patton Street, was approved, dedications thereon accepted, <br />and execution of subdivision agreement authorized, on motion of Council- <br />man Herrin, seconded by Councilman Villa and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />Due to a conflict of interest on the following item, Councilman Evans left <br />the Council Chamber. <br /> <br />FINAL MAP, TRACT 6798 Final Tract Map 6798, filed by <br /> Covington Brothers, creating 21 <br /> lots north of Sunflower Avenue <br />between Fairview and Greenville Streets, was approved, dedications <br />thereon accepted, and execution of subdivision agreement authorized, on <br />motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Villa and carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Evans returned to the Council table. <br /> <br />UTILITIES UNDERGROUNDING On motion of Councilman Brooks, <br />PROGRAM seconded by Councilman Patterson <br /> and unanimously carried, the City <br />Council approved in principle the requirement that the utility service <br />facilities shall be placed so they are entirely underground within the <br />property boundaries on new building construction, and the City Attorney <br />was instructed to prepare the appropriate ordinance. <br /> <br />DOWNTOWN PARKING DISTRICT On motion of Councilman Brooks, <br />PARKING ZONE TIME LIMITS seconded by Councilman Villa, <br /> Council approved the Staff recom- <br />mendation to create a 24-minute parking zone from the existing 2-hour <br />parking zone (District B) on the east side of Main Street from <br />Tenth Street to 130 feet north of BC on Tenth Street, on the following <br />roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Herrin, Brooks, Evans, Patterson, Villa, Griset <br />Markel <br />None <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman Patterson <br />and unanimously carried, Council approved the Staff recommendation <br />to revert the existing 24-minute parking zone to a 1-hour parking zone <br />(District A) on the west side of South Main Street from 78 feet north <br />of the BC to 120 feet north of the BC on ~Valnut Street. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />-314- <br /> <br />September 2, 1969 <br /> <br /> <br />
