Bolsa, Off Sale Beer and Wine, Person <br />T ransfe r; <br />Jolly Ox, 2201 E. tst, On Sale General, Person Transfer. <br /> <br />TRAFFIC Report of control devices removed <br /> or installed September 25, 1969 <br /> through October 9, 1969 was ordered <br />filed, on motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman Herrin and <br />unanimously carried. <br /> <br />COURT HOUSE Council considered the request from <br /> LISA (Let's Improve Santa Ana) for <br /> endorsement of its application to <br />have Orange County's original Court House registered as a State Historical <br />Landmark. On motion of Councilman Brooks, seconded by Councilman <br />Villa and unanimously carried, Council authorized the Mayor and City <br />Attorney to prepare a letter supporting LISA's request. <br /> <br />PARCEL MAP 626 Parcel Map 626, filed by Sunset <br /> Builders, creating two LP parcels <br /> on the north side of Fourth Street, <br />243 feet west of Golden Circle Drive, was approved subject to conditions <br />in Planning Director's report dated October 15, 1969, and alley require- <br />ment was waived, on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Council- <br />man Markel and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />PARCEL MAP 628 Parcel Map 628, filed by A. Holtz, <br /> creating two parcels, one R 4 parcel <br /> and one C 4 parcel, located on the <br />southeast corner of McFadden and Standard, was approved subject to <br />conditions in Planning Director's report dated October 13, 1969, and <br />alley requirement was waived, on motion of Councilman Markel, <br />seconded by Councilman Herrin and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />STOP SIGN REQUEST The Council considered the report <br />BUSH AND TENTH STREETS dated September 30, 1969, from <br /> the Director of Public Works in <br />response to written requests from Buffums Department Store and The <br />Travelers Insurance Company for installation of a stop sign regulating <br />southbound traffic on Bush Street at Tenth Street. <br /> <br />The City Manager reported that both firms had been provided with <br />copies of the report and had raised no objections to the new channelization <br />design and corrective measures taken. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Brooks <br />and unanimously carried to deny the requests for stop sign installation <br />on Bush Street at Tenth Street in view of the apparently satisfactory <br />resolution of the problem. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />-362- October 20, 1969 <br /> <br /> <br />
