Approve a Funding Analysis with a total estimated construction cost <br /> of $498,300. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The segment of Dyer Road between Flower and Main Streets has been <br />identified as a high priority in the City's Pavement Management System <br />(Exhibit 1). The pavement is deteriorating due to weather, age and heavy <br />usage. Some of the adjacent curbs, gutters, sidewalks, cross gutters, <br />driveway approaches and wheelchair ramps are also in various states of <br />disrepair and require replacement. <br /> <br />This project provides for construction of new street pavement, <br />replacement of damaged curbs, gutters, sidewalks, cross gutters, driveway <br />approaches and wheelchair ramps. Once completed, these improvements will <br />enhance the ride quality, surface drainage and visual appearance of the <br />street. <br /> <br />The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on November 21 and 22, 2003 and <br />bids were opened on December 16, 2003.
