Appendix <br />ATTACHMENT 1. <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br />FOR <br />Santa Ana Downtown Parking Structure Improvements <br />RFP NO. 24-100A <br />The City of Santa Ana is accepting proposals from qualified firms to provide design <br />services for three Downtown Santa Ana Structures. Since being built in the 1980s, three of the city's <br />parking Structures continue to operate in their original conditions. Therefore, a strong desire exists to <br />modernize the facilities by upgrading signage, lighting, parking and structural deficiencies. Scope of <br />work shall include, but is not limited to, preparation of construction plans and specifications, preparation <br />of cost estimate, support during bid advertisement, and assistance during construction. Scope will also <br />include coordination, reviews, permitting, and approvals from internal CSA agencies. Proposers must <br />attend mandatory job walk, which shall be held at all three locations. <br />• Fiesta Parking Structure (300 E. 5th Street, Santa Ana, CA 9270 1) <br />• Garage C Parking Structure (310 Birch Street, Santa Ana, CA 92701) <br />• Garage D Parking Structure (420 N Main Street, Santa Ana, Ca 9270 1) <br />All of the parking structures need several modernization improvements, a generalized description for <br />consideration are as follows: <br />• As -built plans of all the parking structures. <br />• Lighting Improvements — assess Current lighting fixtures and their efficiency. Add lighting to <br />some signs and/or improve existing timers. <br />• Signage Upgrades —evaluate existing signage for clarity, visibility and compliance with local <br />regulations. <br />• Parking Stall Enhancements — repaint parking stall lines and numbers. Replace missing or <br />damaged wheel stops. <br />• Remove unused fire hose boxes. <br />• Re -stripe parking lanes and add "compact" sign for small parking spaces. <br />• Painting and patching improvements to exterior and interior areas of need <br />• Remove or repair pedestrian doors. <br />• CASP report <br />• Low cost landscape recommendations/improvements <br />City of Santa Ana RFP 24-1 OOA <br />Page Al-1 <br />
