NORK MAY PRCiCEED <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />6 <br />AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT <br />A- 2002 -189 <br />THIS AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT, is entered into on Beeemb r <br />2002, by and between the Santa Ana Unified School District, a public body corporate and <br />politic ( "Consultant ") and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation <br />of the State of California ( "City "). <br />Recitals: <br />A. The parties entered into an Agreement dated July 16, 2001, (hereinafter "said <br />Agreement ") by which Consultant agreed to operate a "Weed and Seed Safe Haven <br />Site" at John F. Kennedy Elementary School. <br />B. The parties extended the term to June 30, 2003, and increased the compensation <br />available pursuant to said Agreement. <br />C. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to <br />increase the compensation available to pay for services provided during the extended <br />term. <br />Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject <br />to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this <br />Amendment to Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />The total compensation which City agrees to pay to Consultant for the services <br />provided pursuant to said Agreement shall be increased by $19,368. The total sum to <br />be expended under said Agreement shall not exceed $79,368.00 during the term of <br />said Agreement. <br />2. Except as hereinabove modified, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall <br />remain in full force and effect. <br />// <br />// <br />
