<br />j1-/HIf-I?-(c. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO 1999 EMPOWERMENT ZONE PLANNING AND <br />IMPLEMENTATION GRANT NO. EZ-99-CA-OOOI <br /> <br />HUÐ's Appropriation for Fiscal Year 2000, P. L. 106-74, provides $55,000,000 for grants in <br />connection with the second round of the Empowennent Zones program in urban areas designated by the <br />Secretary in 1999 pursuant to the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997. This appropriation includes $3,666,667 <br />"for each empowerment zone in conjunction with economic development activities consistent with the <br />Strategic Plan for each Round n Empowerment Zone".
