Cepeda was named president of Santa Ana Còllege July 1999. As leader of one of the state's <br />oldest community colleges, she guides the college in fulfilling its mission of responsive service to student <br />and community needs. Reporting to the community college district chancellor, this includes planning, <br />organizing, and implementing educational policy and procedures to develop curriculum and student <br />support services. <br /> <br />Whv are vou on the WIB? <br /> <br />In addition to the fact that community colleges are mandatory partners designated to serve on local <br />Workforce Investment Boards, the more important reason is that the goals and objectives of the WIB are <br />entirely consonant with the goals of community colleges which include the preparation of an educated <br />workforce in direct response to the needs of business and industry and ultimately to act as an economic <br />change agent for the communities we serve.
