Approve a Funding Analysis with a total estimated construction cost <br />of $355,500. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The Santiago Park Wildlife Viewing Facility consists of constructing two <br />wildlife habitat viewing facilities along the Santiago Park Trail <br />(Exhibit 1). The facilities are designed as an amphitheatre type setting <br />with stone benches and open long structures, which will provide a safe, <br />relaxing and educational environment for individuals and small groups to <br />view birds and other wildlife within their natural habitat. These viewing <br />facilities will be linked by an informal path to the future Nature Center <br />across the creek where the main interpretation exhibits and programs will <br />be presented. <br /> <br />The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on January 15 and 16, 2004, bids <br />were opened on February 18, 2004.
