<br />., . <br /> <br />1.6 The City will provide the water necessary to complete the cleaning of the <br />sidewalks. <br /> <br />1.7 All work shall be performed between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., daily <br />five (5) days per week. The work schedule must be coordinated with the <br />Executive Director of the Community Development Agency or his designee. <br /> <br />1.8. Process used by the Contractor must leave the area clean and free of stains and all <br />loose or embedded materials, including chewing gum. The Contractor must <br />remove all debris from the area; all water must be captured using zero-discharge <br />technique and removal of all affluent from the sidewalks. The cleaning process <br />must not damage the concrete surfaces or the brick paver surface. The process <br />must not damage adjacent areas in any way. The contractor will be responsible for <br />all damage to the surrounding areas. <br /> <br />1.9 The City reserves the right to suspend the work wholly or in part if deemed <br />necessary for the best interest ofthe City. This suspension will be without <br />compensation to the Contractor, other than to adjust the contract completion / <br />delivery requirements. <br /> <br />1.10 Contractor shall timely perform the services required by this Agreement. Delays, <br />if due to no fault or neglect of the Contractor, may entitle the Contractor to an <br />extension of time allowed for completing the work. Contractor must notify the <br />City of any such delay. <br /> <br />1.11 The Contractor, shall each morning remove all supplies, materials, debris, <br />rubbish, etc. caused by the operation and leave the finished site in a neat, orderly <br />condition. All walls and glass door entries shall be free of dirty water and/or mud <br />stains. <br /> <br />1.12 All sidewalk gutters must be cleaned of all gum and other debris and substances. <br /> <br />1.13 The cleaning process must use hot water under high pressure for the most <br />effective cleaning. The temperature of the water is to be 250*F minimum. <br /> <br />1.14 All gum must be removed from the pavers, concrete and other sidewalk surfaces. <br /> <br />1.15 Pressure washing is to include the areas behind the sidewalk benches, bus stop <br />areas, and other structures located on the outside of the buildings on the sidewalk. <br /> <br />1.16 Bus stop areas are to be cleaned of all debris, gum, dirt and grime. <br /> <br />1.17 The Contractor will furnish all the equipment, labor, supplies and materials <br />necessary to clean gum, dirt, grime, oil and other fluids from the pavement areas <br />shown in the Downtown Santa Ana Business Improvement District Area. The <br />project will require power surface cleaning of concrete, pavers and asphalt <br />surfaces. The cleaning activities include simultaneous mechanical removal of <br />
