<br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR PRESSURE <br />WASHING AND CLEANING THE SIDEWALKS FOR DOWNTOWN SANTA <br />ANA <br /> <br />1.1 Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, equipment and transportation <br />necessary for the removal of stains and deposits from cement and brick paver <br />sidewalks as indicated on the attached map (Attachment 1) of the Downtown area <br />of the City of Santa Ana. The contract period shall be one year commencing on or <br />about February 1, 2004 and ending January 31, 2005. Said term may be extended <br />for two additional twelve (12) month periods, upon the Agreement of the parties. <br /> <br />1.2 Cleaning will be required five (5) nights per week - Wednesday through Sunday, <br />depending on traffic and weather conditions. Contactor is required to clean three <br />linear blocks per night. <br /> <br />1.3 The areas to be cleaned are as indicated on the attached map (Attachment I). <br /> <br />Area <br /> <br />a. 4th Street, North and South side from Ross Street to Mortimer Street <br /> <br />b. 2nd Street and 3rd Street, North and South side, from Sycamore to Main <br />Street <br /> <br />c. Broadway, East and West side, from I st Street North to Civic Center South <br /> <br />d. Main Street, East and West side, from I st Street North to Civic Center <br />Drive, South <br /> <br />e. Sycamore Street, East and West side, from 1 st Street North to 3rd Street <br />North and South side <br /> <br />f. Birch Street, East and West side, from 3rd Street and 4th Street North and <br />South side <br /> <br />1.4 Contractor will weekly provide a written update describing which blocks were <br />cleaned, to the Downtown Development Office. Areas shall be <br />cleaned in any combination or sequence as determined by the Executive Director <br />of the Community Development Agency or his designee. <br />
