To maintain these systems <br />in good working condition it is vital to have preventative maintenance and <br />repair services available. The preventive maintenance and repair services <br />recommended by staff will include materials, skilled labor, supervision, <br />tools and supplies, testing equipment, and inspections. These services <br />will ensure that City mechanical systems operate efficiently, safely and <br />meet all applicable laws and regulations. <br /> <br />On January 22, 2004 five requests for proposals were mailed to five <br />vendors. On February 27, 2004 two proposals were received, one vendor <br />declined the invitation, and two did not reply to the proposal. Proposals <br />were opened on February 28, 2004 (Exhibit 1). The two proposals were <br />.evaluated on technical expertise, strength of firm, proposal completeness <br />. and references submitted. <br /> <br />25D-1 <br />
