The home features <br />English and French architectural elements such as the rounded <br />tower-like entry bay with conical roof placed at the intersection <br />of the pitched front and side-gabled wings. Brick quoins define <br />the arched entry and large multi-paned living room window. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2422 North Santiago Street, H.E. Yost House. The 1923 H.E. Yost <br />House qualifies for listing on the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties for its representation of the <br />distinguishing characteristics of the Spanish Colonial Revi val <br />style. Additionally, the structure is eligible to be categorized <br />as Contributive as it contributes to the overall character and <br />history of Park Santiago Neighborhood and is a good example of <br />the flat-roofed subtype of the Spanish Colonial Revival style <br />period architecture. The front façade is nearly symmetrical with <br />arched and circular elements and bands of casement windows. The <br />roof features a stepped parapet edged with tile coping. Centered <br />above the arched entry and round-headed door is an arched niche. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1920 North Poinsettia Street, Esau House. The Esau House, circa <br />1911, qualifies for listing on the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties for its representation of the <br />distinguishing characteristics of an early Craftsman style, the <br />Craftsman bungalow. Additionally, the structure is eligible to <br />be categorized as Contributive as it contributes to the overall <br />character and history of the Park Santiago Neighborhood. It is a <br />good example of period architecture as an early one-story <br />Craftsman bungalow. The bungalow features a hipped and gabled <br />roof, overhanging eaves with exposed beams and rafters, wood <br />cladding and tripartite window with decorative transom. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />521 East Santa Clara Avenue, Schmidt House. The Schmidt House, <br />built in 1922, qualifies for listing on the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties for its representation of the <br />distinguishing characteristics of the Craftsman style. <br />Additionally, the structure has been categorized as Contributive <br />because it contributes to the overall character and history of <br /> <br />75A-20 <br />
