Additionally, the SD-60 <br />project area is currently builtout. The probability for the <br />discovery of unknown resources would be low. Strong Seismic Ground shaking? <br /> <br />No Impact <br /> <br />The SD-60 project area is situated within an active seismic <br />region of southern California. According to the General Plan <br />Land Use Element EIR, there are 38 active faults within a 60- <br />mile radius of the City of Santa Ana. The Newport-Inglewood <br />Fault located eight miles south of the City is considered to be <br />one of the most dominant faults in regards to potential seismic <br />shaking impacts. The Newport-Inglewood fault is postulated as <br />having the potential to generate a maximum credible earthquake <br /> <br />15a~18 <br />
