Additionally, the SD-60 <br />project area is currently builtout. The probability for the <br />discovery of unknown resources would be low. Therefore, approval <br />of the proposed amendment to SD-60 would not result in any <br />impacts to known or unknown cultural resources. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />GEOLOGY/SOILS <br /> <br />(A-l) <br /> <br />Rupture of a known earthquake fault, as delineated on <br />the most recent Alquist-Priolo Earthquake Fault Zoning <br />Map issued by the State geologist for the area or <br />based on other substantial evidence of a known fault? <br /> <br />(A-4) <br /> <br />Landslides <br /> <br />No Impact <br /> <br />According to the City's General Plan Land Use Element EIR there <br />are no active earthquake faults, Alquist-Priolo Earthquake Zones <br />or landslides within the SD-60 project area: Therefore, approval <br />and implementation of the proposed amendment to SD-60 would not <br />be subject to ground rupture impacts or landslide impacts. <br /> <br />(A-2) <br /> <br />A-2. Strong Seismic Ground shaking? <br /> <br />No Impact <br /> <br />The SD-60 project area is situated within an active seismic <br />region of southern California. According to the General Plan <br />Land Use Element EIR, there are 38 active faults within a 60- <br />mile radius of the City of Santa Ana. The Newport-Inglewood <br />Fault located eight miles south of the City is considered to be <br />one of the most dominant faults in regards to potential seismic <br />shaking impacts. The Newport-Inglewood fault is postulated as <br />having the potential to generate a maximum credible earthquake <br /> <br />15a~18 <br />
