<br />COMMENTS <br /> <br />Visual Arts Center in Fullerton. The Exhibit will be shown from April 3- <br />June 27, 2004 at the Grand Central Art Center <br />. Announced that the Floral Park Home Tour will be held April 24-25 and <br />the Wilshire Square Home Tour will be held June 26-27. <br /> <br />Council member Alvarez <br />. Thanked the Council for its support on Item 85A and asked staff to <br />send the Council background information on this item <br />. Stated that she would like a more detailed presentation given on the <br />One Broadway Plaza project. <br />. Thanked the Human Relations Commission and the applicants for all <br />their efforts in the Community Development Block Grant funding <br />process <br />. Announced that the Mariachi Festival will be held May 8, 2004 from 2-5 <br />P.M. <br /> <br />Mavor Pro Tem Franklin <br />. Encouraged residents to attend both the Floral Park and Wilshire <br />Square Home Tours and further recommended that residents volunteer <br />as docents at these events <br />. Announced that on May 1, 2004 at the Huntington Beach City Council <br />Chambers, there will be an event sponsored by Congressman <br />Rohrabacher entitled "Citizens for Protecting the Homeland: How you <br />can protect your family" <br />. Congratulated Mayor Pulido on his reappointment to CalSTERS by the <br />Governor <br /> <br />Mavor Pulido <br />. Noted that he would be against a $10,000 minimum limit for <br />Community Development Block Grant funding.
