<br />Contract Awards for Safety Equipment <br />(Spec. No. 04-033) <br />May 3, 2004 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Bids were received and opened on March 31, 2004 (Exhibit 1). The bids <br />received from Allstar Fire Equipment, Inc., and L.N. Curtis & Sons are <br />responsive to the specifications and meet the City's requirements. The <br />cost of the face protection equipment and rescue systems, when combined <br />with previous purchases during the current fiscal year from Allstar Fire <br />Equipment, Inc. and L.N. Curtis & Sons, exceeds the $10,000 aggregate limit <br />and requires City Council approval. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />Funds are available in the Fire Department Grants Metro Medical Response <br />System Grant Other Materials & Supplies account (account number 146-323- <br />6391) . <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Services Agency <br /> <br />22H-2 <br />
