<br />Agreement, when it was originally executed; <br /> <br />(ii) <br /> <br />It does not materially change other terms of this Agreement, and <br /> <br />(iii) <br /> <br />It is supported by adequate consideration to COUNTY. <br /> <br />Board of Supervisors' action is necessary to approve a request from CONTRACTOR that does not satisfy all of the <br /> <br />criteria listed above. <br /> <br />PARTICIPANTS <br /> <br />26. <br /> <br />(a) Benefits. CONTRACTOR shall provide wages and benefits to individuals who participate in the <br /> <br />activities and services funded by this Agreement ("participants") in accordance with the standards and requirements <br /> <br />of the Act, including Section 181 of the Act. <br /> <br />(b) Labor Standards. CONTRACTOR shall adhere to the Labor Standards described in the Act, <br /> <br />including Section 181 of the Act. <br /> <br />(c) Complaint Handling Procedures. CONTRACTOR shall comply with the "Complaint Handling <br /> <br />Procedures" under the WIA Act, a copy of which is available from HCS. CONTRACTOR shall advise participants <br /> <br />of their right to file complaints under the Act and of the procedures for resolution of any complaints. <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR shall follow COUNTY'S procedures for handling complaints alleging a violation of the Act, <br /> <br />regulations, grants or other agreements under the Act, and any decision of the COUNTY, the State or the Federal <br /> <br />government relating to the complaint shall be binding on and shall be followed by CONTRACTOR. <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR shaU operate a grievance system that incorporates the COUNTY'S procedures for resolution of <br /> <br />complaints relating to the terms and conditions of employment; these procedures shall be approved in writing by <br /> <br />HCS. <br /> <br />(d) Nondiscrimination and Compliance Provisions <br /> <br />(I) As a condition of this award of financial assistance under the Act to CONTRACTOR from <br /> <br />WIA Cost Reimbursement Contract <br />REV 9/24/03 <br /> <br />15 <br />
