• Electrical/lighting plan (building) <br />• Plumbing plan <br />• "ADA", architectural, structural, electrical plumbing details <br />• Three (3) sets signed structural calculations <br />• T•24 documentation, as required by Building Department <br />• Project manual (technical specifications); boiler plate to be provided by City. <br />• Opinion of Probable Cost <br />b. Upon submittal of contract documents, the Consultant shall make revisions as required <br />and reproduce all contract documents until plans are approved by appropriate agencies, <br />and approvals are obtained to acquire building permits. City staff shall make the initial <br />submittal for Building Department plan check and act as liaison between plan checker and <br />consultant to discuss what needs to be done to obtain permit approvals. <br />c, All sheets shall be signed by the appropriate design professional and shall have the project <br />street address written in the appropriate blocks. <br />d. Consultant shall submit final signed reproducible plans and specifications to City, which <br />shall become the property of the City. Drawings shall be per standard City formatted <br />sheet, as provided by City. <br />e. Consultant shall assist with clarifying any questions in the contract documents during the <br />bid process. <br />f. All original construction documents shall become the property of the City. Construction <br />Documents shall consist of inked line work, and without any taped on materials. <br />Task 4 - Construction Administration <br />A maximum of 20 hours may be required to complete the following: <br />a. Attend pre -construction meeting. <br />b. Provide field observation/supervision as required to ensure compliance with the Contract <br />Documents. The Consultant shall identify milestones in the construction process- that he <br />shall be in attendance for inspections/approvals in order to grant this assurance. The <br />contractor shall be made aware of these dates at the pre -construction meeting. Additional <br />site visits beyond the maximum herein stated will be compensated at a rate not to exceed <br />the hourly billing rate of the principle in charge of the project. <br />c. Attend final walk-through and assist with preparation of punch list. <br />d. Attend final inspection. <br />lI. RESPONSIBILITY OF CITY <br />In general, the City will be responsible for the following items: <br />• Providing copies of available plans and existing documentation on file in the Parks, <br />Recreation and Community Services Agency and Public Works Agency. <br />• Providing standard City Boiler Plate. <br />• Acting as a liaison with the appropriate decision making bodies <br />• Furnish sheets with City title block (24" x 36") <br />• Process plans for governmental agency approvals having jurisdiction over the project <br />and pay for all plan check fees. <br />5 <br />
