<br />1 <br />2 <br /> <br />3 <br />4 <br /> <br />5 <br />6 <br /> <br />7 <br />8 <br /> <br />9 <br />10 <br /> <br />11 <br />12 <br /> <br />13 <br />14 <br /> <br />15 <br />16 <br /> <br />17 <br />18 <br /> <br />19 <br />20 <br /> <br />21 <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br />24 <br /> <br />25 <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br />28 <br /> <br />2.1.1 <br /> <br />Each Case Manager sha 11 moni tor a maxi mum of forty (40) <br /> <br />Work Experience (WEX) participants. <br /> <br />2.2 <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR and ADMINISTRATOR may agree in writing to modify <br /> <br />workload goals as set forth in this paragraph. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />SERVICES <br /> <br />3.1 <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR shall provide WTW participants with WEX activities <br /> <br />necessary to remove barriers to subsequent employment. <br /> <br />These activities will <br /> <br />be provided to participants referred by COUNTY to the SANTA ANA Workforce <br /> <br />Investment Board (WIB). a division of CONTRACTOR. <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR shall cooperate <br /> <br />with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) on the implementation <br />of WEX activities to the mutual satisfaction of COUNTY and CDSS, and with any <br />and all future requirements established by CDSS relating to calculation of <br /> <br />required WTW participation hours for each participant. <br /> <br />Removal of barriers to <br /> <br />employment shall be accomplished by a variety of methods. <br /> <br />3.1.1 <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR shall make every attempt to engage participants <br /> <br />and involve them in the development of a WEX activity that meets their 32/35- <br /> <br />hour WTW participation requirement. <br /> <br />COUNTY WTW staff will retain sole <br /> <br />responsibil ity <br />Plan. <br /> <br />for final development and approval of the participant's WTW <br /> <br />3.2 <br /> <br />COUNTY shall retain any and all rights to require pre-approval by <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATOR andlor limit any and all <br />Servi ces sha 11 be provi ded in accordance <br /> <br />services provided by CONTRACTOR. <br />with ADMINISTRATOR's policies and <br /> <br />procedures and other instructions provided by ADMINISTRATOR. <br /> <br />3.3 <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATOR may, in its sole discretion, change the services <br /> <br />required <br /> <br />under <br /> <br />Subparagraph <br /> <br />3.1 <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />full <br /> <br />compliance with <br /> <br />all <br /> <br />ensure <br /> <br />requirements if the State of California Department of Social Services (CDSS) <br />requires subsequent changes to the County of Orange CalWORKs Plan, changes to <br /> <br />WTW requirements under the Welfare and Institutions Code.
