Staff recommends amending the contracts with <br />the direct manufacturers and value-added resellers to allow for <br />solicitation of competitive quotes under the terms and conditions of <br />the City's Strategic Plan contracts. <br /> <br />The Personnel Services Agency's Risk Management Division requires a <br />tablet and a laptop computer for off site use by the Loss Control <br />Technician and Workers Compensation staff. The computers will be used <br />during safety meetings, emergency operations preparedness meetings, and <br />other meetings, whereas a desktop computer may not be available or <br />appropriate.
