S. Phillips, First Assembly of God Church. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING Hearing was opened on a proposed amend- <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT ment to the Zoning Ordinance, amending <br /> the Land Use District Regulations of the <br />Santa Ana Municipal Code, establishing a new Zoning District (O) that will pro- <br />vide for permanent open spaces in the City of land owned or controlled by a <br />governmental or quasi-public agency. There being no response to the call for <br />testimony~ the hearing was closed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Patterson and <br />unanimously carried, Council approved the proposed Zoning Ordinance Amend- <br />ment and instructed the City Attorney to prepare an ordinance adding sections to <br />the Zoning Ordinance providing for an "O" District, providing for permanent <br />open spaces in the City of land owned or conlrolled by a governmental or <br />quasi-public agency. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING Hearing was opened on a proposed amend- <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT ment to the Zoning Ordinance, amending <br /> the General Provisions of the Zoning <br />Ordinance of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, permitting the ~-oning Administrator <br />the authority to approve the temporary use of trailers for offices and permitting <br />open buildings under special circumstances in commercial districts.
