FAMILY BILLIARDS The request from James Kelly, Sr., to <br /> operate a family billiards center at <br /> 1068-C West First Street was granted <br />subject to his obtaining a Conditional Use Permit and applicable Code require- <br />ments on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Markel and <br />unanimously carried. <br /> <br />HEALTH SERVICES Council considered the Manager's report <br />SOUTH SANTA ANA dated February 25, 1970, on Endorsement <br /> of a proposed County Health Department <br />Outpost Center for Health Services in South Santa Aha. On motion of Councilman <br />Villa, seconded by Councilman Patterson, the City Council endorsed establish- <br />ment of the Outpost Center for Public Health Services in South Santa Ana, on the <br />following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Herrin, Evans, Patterson, <br />NOES: Markel <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Villa, Yamamoto, Griset <br /> <br />SURPLUS BUILDINGS It was moved by Councilman Herrin, <br /> seconded by Councilman Patterson; to <br /> declare surplus and authorize demolition <br />for Surplus Property Report 70-3, restaurant and residence at 109 North Garnsey <br />and 719 West First Street; declare surplus, authorize Purchasing and Property <br />Control Officer to sell to highest bidder, and if unsold in 60 aays demolish for <br />Surplus Property Report 70-2, residence at 1057 West First Street; and declare <br />surplus and authorize demolition for Surplus Property Report 70-4, residence <br />at 1063 West First Street. The motion was adopted on the following roll call <br />vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Herrin, Evans, Patterson, Villa, Yamamoto, Griset <br />Markel <br />None <br /> <br />DEED, CASH - On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded <br />GRANTEE, CITY by Councilman Markel and unanimously <br /> carried, Council approved and authorized <br />execution of escrow by Mayor of Deed with Cash, granted to the City by Cipriana <br />Villa for street purposes, on north side of Santa Ana Boulevard, east side of <br />Logan. <br /> <br />SIGNAL REQUEST The staff report dated February 26, 1970, <br /> on the warrant study made at First and <br /> Jackson Streets as a result of the request <br />for a signal installation was deferred to the March 16 Council meeting, on motion <br />of Councilman Patterson, seconded by Councilman Herrin.
