PARCEL MAP 663 - (Continued) <br /> <br />Planning Director's report dated June 3, 1970, and alley requirement <br />was waived, on motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman <br />Patterson and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />PARCEL MAP 664 Parcel Map 664, filed by Donald <br /> H. and Helen Kay, creating four (4) <br /> M 1 parcels on the northeast corner <br />of St. Gertrude Place and Grand Avenue, was approved subject to conditions <br />in Planning Director's report dated June 10, 1970, and alley requirement was <br />waived, on motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Patterson <br />and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />SURPLUS BUILDING - SPR 70-11 After considering Surplus Property <br /> Report 70-11 regarding residence <br /> at 123 West 17th Street, Council declared <br />the building surplus and authorized demolition, on motion of Councilman Patterson~ <br />seconded by Councilman Evans and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />MEMORIAL PARK The City Manager's report on the <br /> petition requesting improvements <br /> at Memorial Park, referred to staff <br />by Council on June 1, was ordered filed and the Clerk was instructed to inform <br />the interested parties, on motion of Councilman Patterson, seconded by Council- <br />man Yamamoto and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />PROPOSED PARK NAMES AND The Manager's report on recommendations <br />STADIUM USE from the Board of Recreation and Parks <br /> regarding the naming of two parks and a <br />proposed use of the Municipal Stadium was continued to the July 6 Council meeting <br />when the full Council is present, on motion of Councilman Patterson, seconded by <br />Councilman Evans and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />DEEDS On motion of Councilman Patterson, <br /> seconded by Councilman Evans and <br /> unanimously carried, Council ordered <br />filed the Report of No-Cash Deeds accepted by the City Manager, pursuant to <br />Resolution No. 69-156, from May 28, 1970 through June 10, 1970, inclusive; <br />authorized execution of No-Cash Deed by the Mayor and Clerk to various <br />owners of record, west side of Bristol, south side of Segerstrom, for <br />vehicular access rights; and approved and authorized execution of escrow by <br />the Mayor for Deed with cash to the City, Fortune, east side of Harbor, south <br />of First Street, for drainage purposes. <br /> <br />RECESS At 4:40 P.M., the meeting was <br /> recessed to 7:30 P.M., at which <br /> time it was reconvened with the same <br />Council members present.
