PETITION A letter dated September 28, 1970 from
<br /> Allen Hamlin, 951 W. Orange Road,
<br /> enclosing Petition of Grievances
<br />containing approximately 36 signature s of property owners in the area regarding
<br />condition of unimproved property located adjacent to the west end of Orange
<br />Road and the north end of Westwood Blvd., was referred to staff for report
<br />back to Council, on motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman
<br />Villa and unanimously carried.

<br />SURPLUS BUILDING After considering Surplus Property Report
<br />SPR 70-32 70-32 regarding house and office located
<br /> at 407 W. First, Council declared the
<br />buildings surplus and authorized demolition, on motion of Councilman Yamamoto,
<br />seconded by Councilman Patterson, on the following roll call vote:

<br />Resolution No. 69-156, from September 17, 1970 through September 30, inclusive.

<br />SURPLUS LAND After consideration of Surplus Property
<br />SPR 70-33 Report 70-33 regarding 1, 526 square feet
<br /> of property located on the southerly side
<br />of Santa Ana Boulevard, east of Ross Street, Council declared the property
<br />surplus, of nuisance value to other than adjacent owner because of size and
<br />shape, and authorized, a negotiated sale, on motion of Councilman Herrin,
<br />seconded by Councilman Yamamoto and unanimously carried.

<br />FINAL MAP, TRACT 66.310 Final Tract Map 6630, filed by Dale E.
<br /> Fowler, creating 19 lots on the west side
<br /> of Grand Avenue, north of Edinger Avenue,
<br />was approved, dedications thereon accepted, and execution of subdivision agree-
<br />ment authorized, on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman
<br />Villa and unanimously carried.

<br />BOND RELEASE Acting on the Public Works Director's
<br /> report of satisfactory completion of
<br /> improvements, on motion of Councilman
<br />Herrin, seconded by Councilman Villa and unanimously carried, Council
<br />authorized release of bonds for Tract No. 5780, Pacific Avenue and Moore
<br />Avenue.

<br />BOND RELEASE Acting on the Public Works Director's
<br /> report of satisfactory completion of
<br /> improvements, on motion of Councilman
<br />Herrin, seconded by Councilman Evans and unanimously carried, Council
<br />authorized release of bonds for Tract No. 6678, Franzen and Deodar Streets.
