REIMBURSEMENT On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded <br /> by Councilman Patterson and carried, with <br /> Councilman Villa voting "No", Council <br />authorized reimbursement to J. Richard Duntl ey Property Investments for <br />improvements on north side of McFadden Avenue from Lyon Street to 822 feet <br />west of Lyon Street, in t'he amount of $10,333.00. <br /> <br />STREET REIMBURSEMENT <br />POLICY <br /> <br />acted on in March, 1970. <br /> <br />Councilman Patterson requested staff to <br />provide Council with the report on street <br />reimbursement policy which Council <br /> <br />RES. 70-88 It was moved by Councilman Patterson, <br />MANAGER'S SALARY seconded by Councilman Herrin and <br /> unanimously carried, to waive full reading <br />and consider by title only RESOLUTION 70-88 FIXING THE SALARY OF THE CITY <br />MANAGER OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 70-88 was adopted on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by <br />Councilman Patterson and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />DISPLACEMENT <br /> <br />Councilman Markel requested a report <br />from staff on the status of the Vaca <br />residence relocation. <br /> <br />RECESS At 4:57 P4M., the meeting was recessed <br /> to 7:30 P. M., at which time it was recon- <br /> vened with all Council members present. <br />Following the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the Invocation was delivered by <br />Dr. Russ Pavey of the Broadway Baptist Church. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />STREET VACATION <br /> <br />Hearing was opened on the proposed <br />vacation of portions of Hubba rd, Regent and <br />Warren Streets. <br /> <br />There being no response to the call for testimony, the hearing was closed. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 70-86 ORDERING THE VACATION OF PORTIONS OF HUBBARD <br />STREET, REGENT STREET, AND WARREN STREET was adopted, on motion of <br />Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman Evans, on the following roll call <br />vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: I-Ierrin, Evans, Markel, Patterson, Villa, Yamamoto, Griset <br /> <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />A.A. 672 - NATIONAL LAND <br />DEVELOPMENT COMPANY <br /> <br />Hearing was opened on Amendment <br />Application 672, filed by National Land <br />Development Company, proposing <br />amendment of Sectional District Map <br /> <br />6-5-9 by rezoning from the 60-A1-7200 District to the R I and R 2 Districts <br />property located on the southwest corner of Fairhaven and Grand Avenues. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />-290- <br /> <br />October 5, 1970 <br /> <br /> <br />
