REIMBURSEMENTS The following reimbursements <br /> were authorized on motion of <br /> Councilman Herrin, seconded <br />by Councilman Evans, with Councilmen Patterson and Villa dissenting: <br /> <br />Plumbing Contractors, for street improvements south <br />of Westminster Avenue from 660 feet to 990 feet east <br />of Newhope in exchange for dedication to ultimate, in <br />the amount of $3,148.60. <br /> <br />National Land Development Co., for street improvements <br />on the east side of Bristol from MacArthur Boulevard <br />north to Alton Avenue to ultimate width in exchange for <br />ultimate right of way, in the amount of $15,149. 84. <br /> <br />TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP #688 On motion of Councilman Evans, <br /> seconded by Councilman Yamamoto <br /> and unanimously carried, Council <br />approved Tentative Parcel Map #688, filed by Sun Investment Company, <br />creating three (3) R 4 parcels for multiple residential use, located generally <br />on the north side of Sunflower Avenue, 608 feet east of Bristol Street, subject <br />to conditions in report of Planning Director dated March 9, 1971; and the <br />alley requirement was waived. <br /> <br />TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP ~689 Tentative Parcel Map # 689, was <br /> withdrawn at the request of the applicant~ <br /> Nelda Latham, on the unanimously <br />approved motion of Councilman Patterson, seconded by Councilman Villa. The <br />Planning Director reported that the applicant proposes to re-design and re-file <br />a new Parcel Map. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION REFORM The oral progress report to be <br />COMMITTEE presented by the Chairman of the <br /> Presentation Reform Cornn%ittee, <br />Planning Commissioner 3ohn Schilling, was deferred to the evening agenda by <br />unanimous informal agreement. <br /> <br />SURPLUS LAND Council declared su_rplus 16,068 <br />SPR 71-04 square feet of property located east <br /> of Newhope Street and 750 feet north of <br />McFadden Avenue; of nuisance value to other than adjacent owner because of <br />size and shape; and authorized the negotiated sale thereof, on motion of Councilman <br />Patterson, seconded by Councilman Villa and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />BUDGET TRANSFER A transfer of $8,000 from Fund <br /> 51-286 to 51-275 for the purchase of <br /> park property at Center Street and <br />Daisy Avenue was unanimously approved on motion of Councilman Evans, seconded <br />by Councilman Villa. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL -94- March 15, 1971 <br /> <br /> <br />
