FINAL MAP, TRACT #7408 On motion of Councilman Herrin, <br /> seconded by Councilman Markel, <br /> and unanimously carried, Council <br />approved Final Map, Tract #7408, accepted the dedications ~hereon, and <br />authorized execution of the subdivision agreement and bonds. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 71-73 ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PRIOR STREET <br />DEDICATION OF A PORTION OF BIRCH STREET AND ALTON AVENUE <br />was adopted, on motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded by Councilman <br />Markel, and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />SOUTH COMMIINITY PLAN On motion of Councilman Evans~ <br />STUDY seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, <br /> and unanimously carried, the <br />Planning Commission interim report on the South Community Plan Study <br />was referred to staff for further investigation and report at the Council's <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />FAIRHAVEN AVENUE SEWER On motion of Councilman Markel, <br />LINE seconded by Councilman Evans, and <br /> unanimously carried, Council <br />authorized purchase of a sewer line from the City of Orange in Fairhaven <br />Avenue between Cambridge Street and Tustin Avenue in the sum of $8,400. <br /> <br />WILLOWICK GOLF COURSE On motinn of Councilman Markel, <br /> seconded by Councilman Herrin, and <br /> unanimously carried, Council <br />received and ordered filed status report dated July 27, 1971, from Staff <br />on their study of the purchase or de-annexation of the Willowick Golf Course. <br /> <br />STANDARD ALLEY WIDTH Public Works Director's recommenda- <br /> tion that the standard width of 20 feet <br /> for alleys in the City of Santa Aha <br />be retained was approved, on motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by <br />Councilman Patterson, and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />LEASED HOUSING PROGRAM, Councilman Evans stated that in view <br />SECTION 23 of the narrow vote, 4 - 3, which <br /> established the Section 23 Leased <br />Housing Program and the Housing Authority, Council's action be reconsidered. <br /> <br />Mr. Clark Loomis, 1155 West Park Lane, representing the Santa Ana Real <br />Estate Corporation, stated that their organization had insufficient time to <br />study and evaluate the Leased Housing Program, and requested postponement <br />of the matter for two weeks in order that they might have time to present <br />their views and recommendations. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL -267- August 2, 1971 <br /> <br /> <br />
