Erickson creating two (2) M 1 <br /> parcels, one to be used for a service station, and one for a <br /> restaurant (Lorenzo's), located generally north side of Edinger <br /> east of Trotter Avenue. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Patterson, seconded by Councilman Herrin, and <br />carried on a 5-1 vote, Councilman Evans dissenting, the following Tentative <br />Parcel Map was approved, subject to conditions contained in Planning Director's <br />report, and alley requirement was waived: <br /> <br />MAP #722 - Filed by Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa creating two <br />(2) M ] parcels, one to be used for church site and one proposed <br />parcel to be used for a service station, located generally on the <br />northwest corner of Sunflower Avenue and Fairview Street. <br /> <br />Mr. Van Stevens, 1840 E. 17th Street, referred to TENTATIVE FARCEL <br />MAP #718 flied by J. Eugene Rohrs creating three {3) C 4 and one <br />C 4, H ] parcel for commercial and residential purposes, located generally <br />at the northwest corner of Lincoln Avenue and 17th Street, stating that he <br />wc~u]d hke to discuss one condition of approval granted during the afternoon <br />sess~.on. He stated that at the time the single family subdivision to the north <br />w,~s developed, a strip was created, separated from the rest of the subdivision <br />by 191~h Street; that there are two things involved--a 3' strip of private property <br />s~ ] unin~proved property within the City right-of-way; that Pacific Investments, In <br />has agreed to pay for both of these, but that their attorney has advised them <br />That if they let the contract for the improvement of 19th Street, they are exposing <br />themselves lo an unnecessary liability.
