AGENDA ORDER <br />EDISON COMPANY <br />TRANSMISSION LINE <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Herrin, seconded <br />by Councilman Yamamoto and unanimously <br />carried, Agenda item 45 was considered by <br />the Council. <br /> <br />The Mayor recognized Mr. Thomas Lacy of the Southern California Edison Company, <br />who stated that the construction of a 220 kv double circuit transmission line between <br />his Company's Santiago and Ellis Substations would serve the added growth coming <br />into Santa Ana; that the impact on the community will be minimal because the line <br />run will parallel the railroad tracks; that 35 steel poles will be constructed in the <br />City, 100 feet high, 600 feet apart. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Villa, seconded by Councilman Herrin, and unanimously_. <br />carried, to receive and file the written notification, dated March 28, 197Z~ from <br />the Public Utilities Commission of its intention to approve_Application'No. 529F3 <br />filed by Edison Company for the construction of the transmission line. <br /> <br />READING WAIVED On motion of Councilman Patterson, <br /> seconded by Councilman Villa, and <br /> unanimously carried, the full reading <br />of ordinances and resolutions, the titles of which appeared on the public Agenda, was <br />waived. <br /> <br />ORD.
