HYDROLOGY /WATER QUALITY <br /> <br />(A) Less Than Significant Impact <br /> <br />Approval of the proposed Merger would not directly result <br />in any adverse water quality impacts, in that the project <br />does not involve any activities that would result in <br />adverse water quality impacts. Though, future redevelopment <br />activities implemented within the Merged Project Area could <br />potentially result in long-term and/or short-term adverse <br />water quality impacts. However, through the City's <br />development review process, future redevelopment activities <br />implemented within the Merged Project Area would be <br />evaluated for potential water quality impacts. Where <br />needed, mitigation measures, such as water quality plans, <br />compliance with the City's NPDES requirements and <br />implementation of Best Management Practices would be <br />required to avoid or minimize potential water quality <br />impacts. <br /> <br />(B) Less Than Significant Impact <br /> <br />Approval of the proposed Merger would not impact <br />underground water supplies, in that the project would"not <br />involve any activities that would impact underground water <br />supplies. Though, future redevelopment activities <br />implemented within the Merged Project Area could <br />potentially involve dewatering operations, which could <br />impact underground water supplies. However, through the <br />City's development review process, future redevelopment <br />activities implemented within the Merged Project Area would <br />be evaluated for potential impacts to underground water <br />supplies. Mitigation measures, such as preparation of water <br />quality plans, compliance with the City's NPDES <br />requirements and implementation of Best Management <br />Practices would be required to avoid or minimize impacts to <br />underground water supplies. <br /> <br />Page 153 of 190 <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />75D-163 <br />
