Reduce the number of driveways along Harbor Boulevard, and <br />encourage larger lot development, including promoting integrated <br />development. <br /> <br />5. Achieve an aesthetic visual consistency throughout the Harbor Boulevard <br />area while improving and upgrading the visual image of the adjacent areas. <br /> <br />a. Implement consistent development standards and land-use patterns. <br /> <br />b. Implement and maintain a systematic landscaping pattern and <br />standards for public and private land. <br /> <br />c. Implement design and architectural standards for new and rehabilitated <br />structures. <br /> <br />d. Place emphasis on improving the appearance of all arterial streets <br />through an aggressive streetscape improvement program. <br /> <br />e. Create a visually active environment with the use of mimetic <br />architecture and innovative signage. <br /> <br />f. Coordinate visual improvement strategies and implementation with <br />adjacent jurisdictions and other agencies, where necessary. <br /> <br />6. Enhance the economic viability of the Harbor Boulevard area. <br /> <br />a.
