Reject the bid from Don Kott Ford as nonresponsive to the <br />specification. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Award a contract to Villa Ford for the purchase <br />survey truck in the amount of $40,351.38; and <br />$10,000 on the annual blanket contract. <br /> <br />of one utility <br />an additional <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The Fleet Maintenance Division's annual Equipment Replacement Program <br />is included in the City's annual budget, and identifies vehicles <br />scheduled for replacement. Funding is monitored through a depreciation <br />schedule established with each department. <br /> <br />The Construction Engineering Division of the Public Works Agency <br />utilizes two modified utility trucks equipped for surveying projects in <br />the field. Safety regulations have eliminated the ability to carry <br />staff in the rear of the truck and have mandated that all passengers <br />wear seat belts. The new truck has a crew cab that provides seat belts <br />for the front and back seat passengers. Due to age and condition, a <br />1993 Chevrolet survey truck has been approved for replacement in the <br />current fiscal year. <br /> <br />The notice inviting bids was advertised on September 3 and 8, <br />bids were solicited.
