(CA 141) <br /> <br />ORANGE COUNTY Council considered the letter <br />TRANSIT DISTRICT from the Orange County Transit <br /> District dated March 19, 1973, <br />responding to inquiries pertaining to bus routes. Councilman Griset's <br />motion to invite G. J. (Pete) Fielding, General Manager of Orange County <br />Transit District, to speak at the May 21 meeting was seconded by Councilman <br />Patterson, and unanimously carried. (CA 84.4) <br /> <br />I~ROJECT 1342 Council considered the <br />AHFP 602 ('71-' 72) report of the Director of <br /> Public Works dated March 28, <br />1973, and approved the Right-of-Way Certification for Arterial Highway <br />Financing Project Number 602 (71-72), and authorized its execution, on <br />motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Evans, and carried <br />with Councilman Markel voting NO. (CA 29.6; CA 29.4a) <br /> <br />DRAINAGE ASSESSMENT FEES Council considered the report <br /> of the Director of Public <br /> Works dated March 8, 1973, <br />relating to the annual review of drainage assessment fees. The report <br />was approved and referred to the Planning Commission for public hearing <br />on motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, and <br />carried with Councilman Evans voting NO. (CA 70) <br /> <br />COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT Council considered the reports <br />AGENCY - PROJECT AREA of the City Attorney dated <br />COMMITTEE March Z0, 1973 and March 22, <br /> 1973 regarding the appointment <br />of a Project Area Committee for the Community Redevelopment Agency, and <br />directed staff to take appropriate steps to form a Project Area Committee <br />on motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Villa, and carried <br />on a 5-1 vote, with Councilman Evans voting NO and Councilman Markel <br />absent. (CA 82) <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS Councilman Yamamoto stated <br />MEAT BOYCOTT that his family had been observ- <br /> ing the meat boycott, and <br />urged Council to order only chicken or fish at dinner that evening.
