Highlights of this presentation are as follows: <br />. The Urban Areas Security Initiative Grant Program is a non- <br />competitive grant program to create a sustainable national model <br />program to enhance security and overall preparedness to prevent, <br />respond to and recover from acts of terrorism <br />. Includes assessment and strategy component to allocate funds and <br />guide delivery of direct services in the form of equipment, planning, <br />training, exercises and technical assistance <br />.
