(CA 13) <br /> <br />VA 73-25 Variance Application 73-25 <br />KENNEDY INVESTMENT filed by Kennedy Investment, <br /> to allow a temporary office <br /> trailer for a maximum of <br />two years in the R 2 District at 711 North Fairview Street, <br />recommended for approval by the Planning Commission, was received <br />and filed on motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman <br />Ward, and carried on a 4 - 2 vote, with Councilmen Yamamoto <br />and Markel dissenting. (CA 13) <br /> <br />TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP Tentative Parcel Map #811 <br />#811 filed by John E. Fowler, <br /> creating four (4) C 4 <br /> parcels to be used for <br />retail commercial facilities, located generally on the southwest <br />corner of Harbor Boulevard and Hazard Avenue, was approved, and <br />the alley requirement was waived, on motion of Councilman <br />Griset, seconded by Councilman Ward, and carried on a 5 1 <br />vote, with Councilman Yamamoto dissenting. <br /> <br />Prior to voting, Councilman Yamamoto stated that he did not <br />believe that there should be C 4 zoning next to R 1 property, <br />and expressed concern that the nearby residents had not been <br />notified of the proposed parcel map.
