COUNCIL PLANNING Council considered the <br />COMMISSION REFERRALS report of the City Attorney <br /> dated July 19, 1973, <br /> regarding Council Planning <br />Commission referrals when new evidence is presented. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, <br />and unanimously carried on a 6 - 0 vote, Council instructed <br />staff to follow suggestion Number 2 on Page 2 of the report, <br />which would instruct staff to report to Council and the Commis- <br />sion those Council reversals based on new evidence or application <br />modifications. The report would list items of new evidence <br />presented to Council and specify the application modifications, <br />and would not require a Code change. (CA 78.1) <br /> <br />BRISTOL STREET - CONVERSION On motion by Councilman <br />OE STRUCTURES FROM Evans, seconded by <br />RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL Councilman Ward, and <br /> unanimously carried on <br />a 6 - 0 vote, Council received and filed the report from the <br />Planning Department dated July 27, 1973, regarding the conversion <br />of residential structures to commercial structures on Bristol <br />Street. (CA 78) <br /> <br />STATUS REPORT On motion of Councilman <br />REVENUE SHARING Yamamoto, seconded by <br />PUNDS AT 6-30-73 Councilman Griset, Council <br /> received and filed the <br />report of the Director of Finance, dated July 31, entitled <br />"Status Report on Revenue Sharing Funds at 6-30-73", on a <br />unanimous 6 0 vote. (CA 57.2) <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S Council approved the City <br />ABSENCE FROM CITY Manager's vacation commenc- <br /> ing August 17 through <br /> September 6 and absence <br />from Council meetings during that time, on motion of Councilman <br />Griset, seconded by Councilman Ward, and unanimously carried on <br />a 6 0 vote. (CA 79) <br /> <br />PRIORITY LIST The report dated August 1, <br />OF PROJECTS 1973, from the Superinten- <br /> dents of Parks and Recrea- <br /> tion, entitled "Priority <br />List of Projects for June, 1974 - State Bond Issue", was <br />received and filed on motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by <br />Councilman Griset, and carried unanimously on a 6 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />Prior to the vote, the City Manager stated that the priorities <br />could be amended at a later date if the Council chooses. (CA65) <br /> <br />CHANGE ORDER On motion of Councilman <br />BOWERS MUSEUM Yamamoto, seconded by <br /> Councilman Ward, Council <br /> approved Change Order <br />Number 1, increasing in the amount of $24,000.00, Project 7027, <br />Bowers Museum Addition, Casner Construction Company, unanimously <br />on a 6 - 0 vote.
