<br />The primer coat and the finish coat should be from the same manufacturer to <br />ensure compatibility and approval by the City <br />Apply all coatings at appropriate thickness according to the manufacture's <br />directions. Apply all coatings only during proper temperature, wind, and humidity <br />conditions. Allow súfficient time for each coat to dry fully. <br />Conduct final cleanup. <br /> <br />Impact and Friction surface treatments: <br /> <br />Windows: <br /> <br />Select and implement an appropriate work site preparation level. <br />Remove stop bead and parting strip. <br />Stabilize all deteriorated lead-based paint. <br />Eliminate all paint from friction and surface impact. <br />Repair all operating systems of windows. <br />Replace stop bead and parting strip. <br />Repaint all surfaces as outlined in Paint Film Stabilization. <br />Conduct final cleanup. <br /> <br />Doors: <br /> <br />Select and implement an appropriate work site preparation level. <br />Remove doorstop. <br />Remove door. <br />Stabilize all deteriorated lead-based paint. <br />Eliminate all paint from friction and surface impact. <br />Repair all operating systems <br />Replace doorstop. <br />Repaint all surfaces as outlined in Paint Film Stabilization. <br />Conduct final cleanup. <br /> <br />Stairs: <br /> <br />Select and implement an appropriate work site preparation level. <br />Install a hard covering on treads or remove all paint from tread surfaces. <br />Stabilize all deteriorated lead-based paint. <br />Eliminate all paint from friction and surface impact. <br />Make any necessary repairs. <br />Repaint all surfaces as outlined in Paint Film Stabilization. <br /> <br />Conduct final cleanup. <br /> <br />As a recommended option to the City - When the report phase is completed and approved by the City, <br />a remediation plan will be developed, addressing the necessary recommendations for containment and <br />abatement of lead-based paint materials found in the subject property. The Bainbridge Group has been <br />developing and preparing specifications for various types of architecture, engineering and lead <br />abatement related projects for the past nine years, including historically preserved housing projects. <br />The type of projects include renovation, remodel, tenant improvement and lead abatement.
