<br />Take exposure level air tests, soil samples, lead wipes and bulk samples as required in the <br />contract documents/specifications. <br />Conduct periodic review of isolation and containment barriers to determine if they are in <br />compliance with the requirements of the contract documents/specifications. <br /> <br />Thereafter, provide area monitoring at least once every work shift for the duration designated in the <br />contract documents. Monitoring shall be conducted outside the building, inside the Work area and at <br />critical locations adjacent to the Work area, including the negative air pressure equipment exhaust. At <br />the discretion of the monitor, more frequent area monitoring may be provided. <br /> <br />Conduct "clearance testing" in the form of lead wipes and/or soil sampling as required. <br /> <br />Stopping the Work: <br /> <br />If at any time the City, City's Representative or the Monitoring Personnel decides that work practices <br />are violating pertinent regulations or in its opinion endangering residents and other personnel, it will <br />immediately notify the Contractor (followed up in writing) that operations shall cease until corrective <br />action is taken by the Contractor. The Contractor shall take such corrective action before proceeding <br />with the Work. Loss or damage due to the stop work order shall be the Contractor's responsibility and <br />expense. <br /> <br />Reports: <br /> <br />Make daily written reports of observation activities for the City's use. <br /> <br />Issue "Certificate of Completion" or "Certificate of Substantial Completion" upon correction of the punch <br />list items, per 24 CFR Part 35. <br /> <br />Upon completion of the Work, compile a documentation report book covering activities performed under <br />this section and the contract requirements and deliver one (1) copy of the book to the City. <br /> <br />Community Development Agency - City of Santa Ana <br />Lead-Based Paint Consulting Services - Updated Qualifications <br />The Bainbridge Group, Inc.
