EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />DRAINAGE FACILITY INSPECTION, GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM(GIS) <br />INVENTORY, AND SOURCE CONROL PROGRAM <br />GENERAL <br />Consultant will help the City develop a Drainage Facility Inspection, GIS inventory, and Source <br />Control Program. The overall goal of the program is to enhance the City's NPDES permit - <br />required drainage facility - cleaning program. The City has earmarked funds to inspect /clean one <br />hundred percent (100 %) of the city's drainage facilities annually. Additional program <br />components will be developed that will improve and build on the drain cleaning efforts to create <br />a long- lasting program for identifying and treating pollutant sources. The project includes <br />development of a GIS database with drainage facility and industrial facility information, <br />development of a drain inspection and debris measurement component, incorporation of <br />inspection information into the GIS database, analysis of drain cleaning and inspection data, and <br />a targeted source reduction program. The ultimate objective is to reduce sediment loads, trash, <br />debris, nutrients, and metals in storm water originating from nonpoint sources in the City of <br />Santa Ana in order to protect beneficial uses of priority waters of the state. <br />The work shall consist of the following: <br />Task 3 Project Assessment and Evaluation Plan <br />3.1 Submit to the SWRCB's Project Representative a Project Assessment and Evaluation Plan <br />that does all of the following: <br />a. Identifies one or more non -point sources of pollution. <br />b. Describes the baseline water quality of the waterbody /waterbodies impacted. <br />c. Describes the manner in which the proposed practices or measures are implemented. <br />d. Determines the effectiveness of the proposed practices or measures in preventing or reducing <br />pollution. <br />Task Deliverables: 3.1 Project Assessment and Evaluation Plan <br />
