RE-ROUTING OF BUS LINE A letter dated January 24, <br />ORANGE COUNTY TRANSIT 1974, from Robert J. Swan, <br />DISTRICT Public Transit Catalyst, <br /> proposing consultant <br />service to re-route the Orange County Transit District bus line <br />via the Santa Fe Amtrak Station, was referred to the Orange <br />County Transit District, on motion of Councilman Evans, seconded <br />by Councilman Yamamoto and unanimously carried. (CA 84.4) <br /> <br />RECESS <br /> <br />present. <br /> <br />Council recessed at <br />3:30 P.M. and <br />reconvened at 3:45 P.M. <br />with the same Councilmen <br /> <br />PROPOSED TRANSPORTATION Council considered a letter <br />TERMINAL dated January 28, 1974, from <br /> the Planning Commission, <br /> recommending the following <br />regarding the proposed Transportation Terminal: 1) The terminal <br />be located in the Central City area; 2) A feasibility study by <br />consultants should take into account all major possible sites in <br />and around the Central City area; 3) The Transportation Terminal <br />should be a multi-modal facility compatible with present and <br />future land uses. Council authorized the Mayor to prepare an <br />appropriate response to the Planning Commission on motion of <br />Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto and unanimously <br />carried. (CA 84.5) <br /> <br />LATE CLAIM Council granted an <br /> application for leave <br /> to present late claim <br /> for Adriana Ames, a <br />minor; and denied application for leave to present late claim <br />for Margaret L. Ames, on the unanimously carried motion of <br />Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Ward. The attorneys <br />representing the claimants are Rose, Klein and Marias, Santa <br />Ana. (CA 65.7) <br /> <br />RESIGNATION OF A letter dated <br />WESLEY HUMPHREY January 30, 1974, from <br />RECREATION & PARKS BOARD Glen C. Evans, Chairman <br /> of the Board of Recreation <br />and Parks, to Mr. Wesley Humphrey, accepting his resignation as <br />a member of the Board was received and the resignation was <br />accepted with regret, on the unanimously carried motion of <br />Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Garthe. (CA 52.2) <br /> <br />TIME CAPSULE 1974 The staff status report <br /> on the time capsule <br /> dated January 23, 1974, <br /> was received and filed <br />on motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, <br />and unanimously carried.
