(CA 145.5) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 74-23 A motion by Councilman <br />VOLUNTARY GASOLINE Ward, seconded by Council- <br />RATIONING man Evans, to adopt <br /> RESOLUTION 74-23 - A <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA RECOM- <br />MENDING THE VOLUNTARY RATIONING OF GASOLINE FOR THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA IN THE INTEREST OF THE CITIZENS OF SANTA ANA AND <br />IN THE INTEREST OF ORANGE COUNTY AND ITS CITIES was defeated <br />on the following roll call vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Ward, Yamamoto, Patterson <br /> <br />NOES: Griset, Evans, Garthe, Markel <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Mr. Ray Villa, 317 South Bristol spoke in support of the resolu- <br />tion and expressed his opinion that a conspiracy against the <br />American public was being perpetrated by the oil companies. <br />He stated that resolutions from all cities and the County <br />should be directed to the Nixon administration. (CA 145.5) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 74-24 A RESOLUTION OF THE <br />AFFIRMATIVE ACTION CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />COORDINATOR CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> AMENDING SECTION 3 <br />OF RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD CLASS TITLE OF AFFIRMATIVE <br />ACTION COORDINATOR was adopted and the class specification <br />was approved on motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by <br />Councilman Yamamoto, with dissenting votes by Councilmen <br />Evans, Garthe, and Markel. (CA 50.1) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 74-25 A RESOLUTION OF THE <br />ENFORCEMENT BY COUNTY CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />HEALTH OFFICERS CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> CONSENTING TO THE <br />ENFORCEMENT BY THE HEALTH OFFICERS OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE <br />OF CERTAIN ORDINANCES, LAWS, RULES AND REGULATIONS was <br />adopted on motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman <br />Garthe, and unanimously carried. (CA 112.14) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 74-26 A RESOLUTION OF THE <br />OPEN SPACE EASEMENT CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF GARDEN GROVE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> ACCEPTING A GRANT OF <br />AN OPEN SPACE EASEMENT FROM THE CITY OF GARDEN GROVE PURSUANT <br />TO SECTION 51055 OF THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE was con- <br />tinued to the evening meeting on motion of Councilman Ward, <br />seconded by Councilman Evans, and carried, with Councilman <br />Markel dissenting. <br /> <br />PROPOSED AM~ENDMENT TO Council considered a <br />SIGN ORDINANCE letter from Councilman <br /> Ward, dated February 19, <br /> 1974, recommending a <br />proposed amendment to the Sign Ordinance to regulate standards <br />in the Civic Development Zone.
