<br />1.10.2. Green #6 AWG copper grounding cable must be used in all grounding <br />and bonding applications. All related hardware should be provided for a <br />safe, proper, and well ordered installation. <br /> <br />1.1l. FIRE STOPPING <br /> <br />1.11.1. Provide all fire stop caulking compound and packing material for all <br />installations requiring such as outlined in the aforementioned industry <br />standards. This includes, but is not limited to, communications conduit <br />and/or conduit or sleeve assembly penetrations of fire rated walls and <br />partitions, Telecommunications Closet penetrations and inter-floor backbone <br />cable transfers. Comply with the following: <br /> <br />1.11.1.1. <br /> <br />Fire stopping compound characteristics: <br /> <br />1.11.1.1.1. Putty-like; workable with hands down to 350F. <br /> <br />1.11.1.1.2. Firm up to 300oF. <br /> <br />1.11.1.1.3. Remain pliable when exposed to air. <br /> <br />1.11.1.1.4. Adhere to metal, plastic, concrete, and masonry; harmless to <br />hands. <br /> <br />1.11.1.1.5. Seal without causing deterioration of material sealed. <br /> <br />1.11.1.2. Must be UL, or NRTL approved and acceptable to the Project <br />Manager for its intended use. <br /> <br />1.12. MISCELLANEOUS <br /> <br />1.12.1. Provide all required screws, nuts and bolts, inserts, tape, tie wraps <br />(Velcro), labels, other cable management hardware, cable strain relief <br />hardware, rack, frame and equipment mounting hardware, and seismic <br />bracing hardware as necessary to provide a safe, proper, and well ordered <br />installation. <br /> <br />1.13. MANUFACTURERS <br /> <br />1.13.1. Avaya cable and connectivity products supporting 20-year <br />Warranty/Application. <br /> <br />1.13.2. Equipment racks, cable rack runway (ladder rack): manufacturer / supplier <br />of choice. <br /> <br />Page 9 of 24 <br />
